Cheese and cheese and more amazing cheeses.  Cheesemakers galore at the Meet the Cheesemakers event.   Seminars on the science of cheese, the art of cheese and pairings.   More cheese than you could ever eat…this is a true cheeselover's paradise.  The Festival of Cheese will blow your mind as it does every year for me.  Tables and tables of fine artisanal cheeses!  This is an event every cheeselover should experience once in their life…one of those bucket goals.  I attended once some years ago and have been a passionate ACS member and attender of the Conference & Competition ever since.  Speaking of the competition, it's like the Oscars for cheese.  You will be amazed at the number of magnificently talented cheesemakers and the plethora of stunning cheeses they craft with great passion.

Madison, Wisconsin's Architectural  Masterpiece - Monona Terrace that was envisioned by Frank Lloyd Wright.   This stunning venue right on sparkling lake Monona will host this celebration of American cheesemakers and the cheeses they take such pride in producing.

For the 8^th year at LA WineFest, me, Barrie Lynn – The Cheese Impresario, will conduct my popular Artisanal Cheese & Wine Pairing Adventure Seminars. I am hopeful my pairings will thrill your palate.  This is a paring adventure I also hope you will recreate when entertaining your friends and family. 

The wines are from the stunning terrior of Malibu.   Rosenthal’s Malibu Estate Collection has been carefully paired with the cheeses.   There will even be a 6-Year Cheddar made by a Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker for you to taste with one of Rosenthal’s complex liquid creations.

The venue is unique…the historic Raleigh Movie Studios.   Come join The Cheese Impresario and Rosenthal Estate Winery and learn while having fun!

Artisanal Cheese & Wine Pairing Adventure Class.

The class will be held:

Saturday June 8th 3:45pm - 4:30pm and Sunday June 9^th 3:00pm - 3:45pm at, both will take place in the Raleigh Studios café.

Cheese & Rum Pairing

at The Ministry of Rum’s Chicago Rum Festival

I have selected amazing artisanal cheeses to present as delicious pairings with exotic rums from around the world.   The Ministry of Rum’s Chicago Rum Festival is where you can learn about this magical pairing.   Ed Hamilton, founder of The Ministry of Rum is considered by many to be the most knowledgeable person on the planet on all things rum.   Ed was just featured on CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood talking about rum and its history.   Ed loves cheese and rum, as you’ll see when you check out The Cheese Impresario’s show, CHEESE RULES.   She and Ed Hamilton did a show on cheese and rum pairing:

At the festival, people will bring their rum to me and I’ll choose the perfect pairing cheese for them.  I’ll then demonstrate my tasting methodology, The Cheese Highway, and talk about the cheese.  Then I’ll make a plate of a taste of all of the artisanal cheeses.   Each guest will receive a Cheese Scroll with all the information about each of the cheeses and the cheesemakers who takesuch pride in what they produce.

The Ministry of Rum Chicago Rum Festival will be held The Bottom Lounge’s Volcano Room & Patio on Thursday June 14^th.
